The Agape Center for Local and Global Engagement
At Messiah University, we want to challenge students to not only serve out of “love and grace,” but to also reflect and think critically on the service experience in order to gain a mature sense of self. Through service, we hope students will understand, value and appreciate human differences, which leads to greater cultural competency. Over the course of the 2021-2022 academic year, approximately 25 students and 4 professional staff advisors will participate in an Agape Center for Local and Global Engagement Service-Learning experience alongside our partners Food for the Hungry in the Dominican Republic and Polish Christian Ministries in Poland. Please check out details about the upcoming trips below and consider coming alongside our students and community partners in their faithful work, which supports human dignity and the flourishing of all our neighbors.
Disclaimer: if a trip is canceled, all funds raised will support future student trips for The Agape Center for Local and Global Engagement.
