PŁOCK, POLAND

PŁOCK, POLAND

Support student faith development, learning and cross-cultural experiences by contributing financially to the Poland team.

From May 22-June 3, 2019 students will travel to Płock, Poland to support initiatives of Polish Christian Ministries (PCM) and the local evangelical church (Kościół Chrystusowy w Płocku).  Participants will share testimonies of faith and offer conversational English classes with youth, ages 14-18, in the local high school.

How You Can Help.

Because we believe that our International service-learning opportunities should be available to all students at Messiah College – no matter one’s socio-economic background, we have committed to a group fundraising model.  By donating to our project you are helping TWO students at Messiah College participate in a unique, experiential learning opportunity where they can put their faith in action.  You won’t only be making an impact in a student’s life, but you will also be impacting the global church.

It costs approximately $2,000 to provide this unique service-learning experience for one Messiah Student.  The funds raised will go towards the project fee/ministry supplies, travel, food, transportation, and insurance for the respective student.  It would be incredible to raise more than our target, as all funds will directly support our student international service-learning teams.

What Others are Saying.

“Going to Poland has broadened my understanding of God and the Global church.  From gaining a deeper understanding of the roots of cultural and spiritual practices in Poland, to seeing God work through the relationships we made with host families and students, I will carry this experience with me for the rest of my life.  This service-learning trip has allowed me to live out the mission of sharing God’s love with all nations” (Maura Giannone, Class of 2019).
