Track Team New York Spring Break Trip

This year, the Messiah track team has elected to travel to Middletown, NY to partner with 12th Rock. 12th Rock is a missions organization whose vision is, “To change the atmosphere of youth sports by providing positive life lifting experiences that honor Jesus Christ.” They provide these youth sport programs in activities such as basketball, archery, track and field, and other general programs. The president of the organization is a Messiah parent and has a heart surrendered to God’s grace and provision. The team is excited to take part in a service opportunity where they can use their expertise as college track and field athletes. During the trip, the team will be serving by building throwing cages, doing concrete work, leveling new lawn areas, doing cabin renovations, and general cleanup for 2025 camp season. The team will also have the chance to run track and field clinics for local youth during the evenings.
