International Business Institute

International Business Institute has been in existence since 1970. Originally developed by Professor Robert Bartel at Wheaton College, it grew and developed its influence among Christian academic students who were drawn to its distinctive opportunity to incorporate theoretical instruction in an experiential international context. It’s reputation and influence grew when IBI found it’s permanent home at Messiah University in 2004. Since then, over a thousand students have realized the enriching IBI program, incorporating academic study, international travel, and faith integration in an incredible summer semester. 50+ years of successful summer programs has blessed IBI with a reputation of excellence and exploration.
